Program Guidelines
Placement: It is possible that your child will be asked to attend a different class after we observe the number and ability of students enrolled in the program.
Attendance: Students are expected to be on time and ready to dance for all classes and rehearsals. Appropriate absences are excusable, but a note or telephone call is requested in order to assist us in making sure your child is safe. Regular attendance is necessary for progress in the art of dance. Arrangements for make up classes can be made.
Cancellations: Classes may be canceled due to inclement weather. Please call the office before 3 pm at (626)324-9233 if the weather is questionable.
Tuition: Timely payment of your tuition is greatly appreciated. Tuition is due the first week of each month. If tuition is not received and no arrangement has been made regarding late payment, the student will be subject to dismissal from the program. Mid-month enrolees fee is prorated. Make checks payable to KeyPointe.
Behavior: Students will be expected to respect themselves, each other, and anyone else associated with the program. This includes, but is not limited to, teachers, guest instructors, parents, volunteers, and anyone related to the facility in which we dance. Students will also respect the property of others and that of the facilities. Students are expected to be on time, well prepared, and open and eager to learn.
Parents: Help your dancer read and understand these guidelines. Discuss what commitment means with your child. Consider possible conflicts with other activities such as scouts and sports before enrolling, and help your child set priorities.
Snacks/Food: Healthy snacks are encouraged but should be eaten before or after class. Each student is responsible for cleaning up his/her own mess. This includes the bathroom as well as the lounge.
We look forward to sharing dance and fitness with you and your child this year. Please visit the studio and complete the registration form and return it to your child's instructor as soon as possible, along with the first month's tuition.
Thank you!
